Reopening After COVID-19: Updated Health & Safety Procedures

During this unprecedented time, we are putting safety first to protect our families and staff.  All teachers and staff will go through training on health and safety practices.

We continue to work closely with The Department of Early Education and Care and follow CDC guidelines. We have worked hard to make changes to allow us to provide a service for families.

Some changes you will notice:

    • Face masks. All adults must wear a mask while inside our Centers. Masks are strongly encouraged for children ages 2 and up but not required.  Children ages  5 and up must wear a face mask while inside. Masking is not required outdoors.
    • Drop-off and pick up routines. At this time families will not be allowed in the Center to drop children off.  We feel that this is the best way to minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure to all of our children and families. When you use Procare to sign your child in you are attesting that you and your child have no symptoms of COVID-19.
    • Handwashing and sanitizing. Everyone who enters the building will need to wash hands, and we’ll continue to incorporate handwashing into our curriculum. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available at entry areas and throughout the center.
    • Increased cleaning & disinfecting. Staff will continue to clean throughout the day. Toys and other high-touch surfaces will be regularly disinfected and rotated throughout the day.
    • Increased professional cleaning. Professional cleaners will clean and sanitize daily.
    • Stay home if sick. Children, staff and visitors with a 100-degree Fahrenheit or higher temperature will not be allowed to attend the Center or work.  Children and employees will need to be fever and symptom free for 24 hours without a fever reducing medicine.
  • COVID-19 / Illness Policy. This policy has been updated, please reach out to the Center director for further information.

We thank you for your understanding as we continue to navigate the unknown of COVID-19. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to a Center director anytime.
